Compliance & Recruiting Assistant
The Compliance & Recruiting Assistant will support the Director of Compliance and Information in compliance-related matters. Including but not limited to State and Federal Statutes, HIPAA, and 42 CFR regulations. In addition, they will support the Director of Human Resources in recruiting efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compliance:
- Assist in revisions and maintenance of policy and procedures under the direction of the Director of Compliance and Information.
- Assist in revisions and maintenance of the Policy and Procedure Manuals for all licensed programs as directed by the Director of Compliance and Information.
- Ensure mandatory statute-required postings are current for all licensed programs.
- Assist in the annual inventory and tracking of CADT technology-related equipment. and auditing of IT.
- Assist staff with troubleshooting basic computer/technology issues, including onsite assistance when necessary.
- Refer staff to the external IT support provider for advanced or unresolved technical problems.
- Conduct CARF quarterly related tasks.
- Assist the Director of Compliance and Information to administer all processes & procedures and ensure they work within the regulatory framework.
- Train and support staff on the DAANES (Drug and Alcohol Abuse Normative Evaluation System).
- Management of Compliance and Client Confidentiality Hotlines.
- Support the Director of Compliance and Information in conducting Technology Access Audits to ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Post position openings promptly, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity in postings.
- Perform cold calls, emails, and general contacts for high-need positions.
- Schedule and participate in or directly interview candidates.
- Complete interview questionnaires and send an overview of candidates to appropriate managers.
- Develop and refine the interview questionnaires.
- Manage job advertising campaigns and report to the Director of HR regarding spending.
- Extend job offers over the phone, via email, and schedule next orientation steps with candidates.
- Attend hiring events at college and university, career force centers, or other hiring agencies.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the Director of Compliance and Information or the Director of HR.
- Additional assigned duties as required.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to transport materials to different facilities.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have excellent attention to detail & ensure accuracy across documents.
- Must pass a background study issued by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
This role is Monday - Friday with daytime hours, and is 100% in the office.
