Billing - Finance Associate
The Finance Associate position includes a mix of tasks within the Accounts Receivable (AR) function. This individual will need to be able to adapt to change, be able to manage on the fly tasks and must be dependable. This position will require knowledge of all programs within CADT and the systems used to complete financial tasks. Given this, the individual will go through extensive cross training to ensure the individual has knowledge of all programs within CADT and is able to work within the various systems. The Finance Associate could be responsible for the auditing of services, payment and adjustment postings, manual billings using Office Word and Excel, obtaining funding for county clients/patients, manage the AR aged items for all CADT programs; some could be permanently assigned while others assigned on the fly. This includes all of the tasks required from the time the client/patient is identified to start in a program until the actual function information is received for billing. This position will require data entry and at some point, extensive data entry based on timelines provided by the State. The individual should be comfortable working verbally and via email with outside agencies.

- Managing Agings if needed– owned and on the fly
- Planned/on the fly projects, assist others, and other duties as assigned
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Associates degree in medical billing, business, finance, or accounting is preferred.
- Preferred experience in Behavioral Health, Medication Assisted therapy, and Medicare billing.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and promote a sense of urgency when needed.
- Must be able to complete tasks with 100% accuracy.
- Must be able to manage large volumes of work, handle deadlines and maintain high level of productivity.
- Must work well in a changing environment, always looking for ways to improve processes to ensure tasks are handled effectively and efficiently.
- Must have strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain professional verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of Excel and Word and open to training if available.
This role is designated for day shift, Monday through Friday.

Degree of Authority
This individual performs duties as directed by the Finance Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer and according to policies and procedures that govern activity at the Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment.

Work Environment
The noise level in this environment is quiet to moderate. This individual has little to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or caustic substances.
